This is the correct way to play the song. The other versions are basically correct
however they are a half step down from how the song should be played. This is a half
step up
from the other tabs, and seems to be in the correct key. I mean c’mon, you really think
Maynard is going to sing in B flat…more like A or D like every Tool song ever written.
Also I’m using the open G string instead of the 5th fret on the D string because it
sounds like the guitar in the song actually is hitting the open G.If you want you can play
the G note on the D string 5th fret, you have to reach a little bit and it looks way
cooler playing it, however it doesn’t quite have the right sound to it.
